This five-part supply chain case study series continues with one of the transportation
The third case study in the series, in partnership with World Courier, describes the highly complex logistics needs of an autologous immunotherapy that involves collection from over 90 apheresis centres and delivery of the therapy to over 170 clinical sites across North America.
Initially, the partnership was for delivery within clinical trials but evolved into a commercial scale system.
However, solutions that work at small/clinical scale won’t necessarily work at commercial volumes. The answer lies in understanding the entire supply chain, as a matrix of inter-related actions that connect a patient to a life-changing therapy.
Read the full case study to find out more about how and what solutions were implemented to overcome the challenges of traceability and managing short shelf-life.
